Why a check or money order would be a better deal for the shard
If you're in the USA, with a stamp and envelope being less than 45 cents, and paypal taking 30 cents plus 2.9%, anything over 5 dollars would mean paypal is making money on the transaction. Not saying that you can't go though paypal, but that the shard is getting more of your donation going through the USPS snail mail. I don't know postage rates for other countries, or conversion rates if you aren't useing a US greenback, so PayPal may likely be cheaper, and probably quicker and easier for you.
